PRIVACY / LOCAL STORAGE / THIRD PARTIES

Read-only should mean something.

What this static website stores in your tab, when it contacts a public API, and which information you should never share with an explorer.

This website does not include account registration, contact forms, newsletter forms, wallet connections, advertising scripts, or third-party analytics scripts. Its page styles, images, and JavaScript are served as local website assets. It does not request a recovery phrase, private key, wallet password, or spending authorization.

Public API requests

The live browser contacts BlockCypher only after you enable public data. The provider receives the requested public identifiers and normal network-request information, such as the connecting IP address. A public transaction identifier is not a private key, but associating it with a network request can still have privacy implications.

After the first click, a permission flag enables record loading while you navigate in the same tab session. There is no background polling. The adapter omits browser credentials and uses a no-referrer request policy. Provider availability, cross-origin access, and the provider’s own handling of requests are outside this website’s control.

Session storage

The browser may store public API responses, their fetch timestamps, the public-data permission flag, and your motion preference in session storage. Cached API responses are reused for up to 90 seconds. Session storage belongs to the tab’s browsing session and is separate from a user account or server-side database.

Public data can include transaction identifiers and addresses you followed. Use the clear-session control below to remove this site’s stored entries from the current tab. Browser restoration behavior can vary, so explicitly clear the entries when that matters to you.

The hosting provider may maintain ordinary request or security logs according to its configuration. This static package does not define that provider’s retention practices. If you email the contact address, your email provider and the recipient’s mail system process that message. Send only the information needed for your question.

Clearly labeled external links open third-party websites, which have their own practices. This site sets a no-referrer policy, but the destination still receives your direct request. Do not enter wallet secrets into any site that presents itself as an explorer or promises to reveal missing funds.

Scope and questions

This notice describes the components delivered with this website. Changes to hosting, analytics, data providers, or site features may require an updated notice. For questions about the site’s implementation, use Contact. For technical request behavior, see Data & methodology.

Clear this tab’s saved data

Remove cached public records, public-data permission, and the motion preference. This does not delete third-party server logs or change other tabs.
