FIELD NOTES / CATEGORY

Explorer Essentials.

Start with the questions a public record can answer. These guides explain block navigation, native LTC, and the difference between a chain fact and an explorer’s interpretation. Learn the vocabulary before comparing numbers, then follow an exact record through the browser.

Identify before interpreting.

Begin with the network and exact identifier. Then decide whether your question concerns a block, a transaction, or an address. A block’s height and hash answer different questions; a token name does not establish the underlying network. These distinctions prevent a misleading result before any detailed arithmetic begins.
